Cake Industries were commissioned by the architect owners of this property in Dulwich Village to make a bespoke kitchen to their own design. The intention was to create a single, clean work surface along the side wall to allow plenty of free space within the room for their everyday family dining space. The tall, central storage unit gives clear and easy access to a pull-out larder and fridge next to the ovens, with the utility zone (including a second sink) tucked away by the back door.
All cabinets and panels were built in-house with exteriors finished in a light grey satin spray paint to compliment the marble surfaces and polished chrome finger reveals. The result was a clean and light kitchen where the modern language of the cabinet work sits comfortably within the remaining original features of this period home.
