Cake Engineering is a small engineering practice with big ambitions, founded to carry out complex work for extraordinary structures. We work on everything from sculptures (where we work closely with the artist) through to staircases for private and corporate clients, and onwards to footbridges and moving structures. Our work is not run-of-the-mill, and often leads to award winning outcomes. We take a sketch or an idea and make it a reality.

As a graduate engineer working for Cake Engineering you will work closely with the director and senior project leading engineers to help deliver schemes. You will be exposed to responsibility and opportunities to grow, as well as support from experienced mentors.

Working alongside our sister company Cake Industries you will be exposed to the process of fabrication, construction and installation, and will gain a deep appreciation of the importance of making in the process of structural engineering design.
